Talal Ansari

Talal Ansari is an experienced print journalist currently studying investigative reporting and long-form writing at UC Berkeley. He is a graduate of Columbia University with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Relations; his thesis focusing on conflict and state-failure in South Asia. He has written for The Indian Express and the Los Angeles Daily News, with extensive experience in the nonprofit development sector before fully committing to a life in journalism.

This summer he was a Production Intern at Al Jazeera America's new show flagship show "America Tonight."
